Afrikaans Level 1, 2012 (standard)

This programme is designed to support the Afrikaans syllabus for grades 4-7 and is the result of the ongoing work with Afrikaans language departments who work with us. 
Features
  • Just on 2,000 words, phrases and sentences
  • The programme is organized into 80+ Themes
  • Core Themes cover grammar and topical subjects
  • Sentence Themes have been introduced in the 2012 programme
  • A maximum of 15 root words are covered in a Theme which breaks the work into manageable chunks.  Learners quickly realise that the work to be completed is achievable and "switch on" to learning the new language
  • All words, phrases and sentences have  pronunciation sound clips

This programme is designed to support the Afrikaans syllabus for 
grades 8-12 (high school) and builds on the Afrikaans Level 1 programme.

  • The programmes is organized into 250+ Themes
  • Core Themes cover grammar and topical subjects
  • Sentence Themes have been introduced in the 2012 programme
  • A maximum of 15 root words are covered in a Theme which breaks the work into manageable chunks.  Learners quickly realise that the work to be completed is achievable and "switch on" to learning the new language
  • All words, phrases and sentences have  pronunciation sound clips

isiZulu Level 1, 2012 (standard)

This programme is designed to support the isiZulu syllabus for grades 4-7 and is the result of the ongoing work with isiZulu language departments who work with us.

Sesotho Level 1, 2012 (standard) 

This programme is designed to support the Sesotho syllabus for grades 4-7 
and is currently being worked on with the IEB Sesotho / Sepedi / Setswana 
cluster, co-ordinated by Connie Mmamoyahabo @ St Mary's DSG, Pretoria. 

The result of this adoption of the project by the cluster will not only mean that this programme has a voice (i.e. pronunciations) it will also mean the birth of the Sepedi Level 1 programme and the expansion of these into the Level 2 programmes for grades 8-12.  By extension it will hopefully also mean that the Setswana programmes get developed too.
