School specific programmes
Where school language educators want to create a unique programme tailored to their syllabus we follow a customisation process, according to the following considerations :
The School Programmes page provides parents with a view of the programme that has been implemented at their school and gives them access to the wordlist that their child will work through.
The Customisation page gives parents and language educators an insight into the process involved in creating a unique programme for their school.
The standard language programmes are rich and support numerous syllabuses. These are updated regularly from the input received from various language educators and language specialists. As such, they represent the most up to date source for building a vocabulary in a specific language and mastering the fundamentals.
This is obviously reflective of the level of input received from the language educators and specialists in a particular language and we back this commitment by aligning technology and our experience in system development to best support this process.
We therefore welcome the feedback from all the role players involved in language learning - parents, teachers, school management, language specialist, tutors, etc.
- Language educators must be willing to work with us, using the Xcel templates provided. This streamlines the process and significantly reduces the work required to develop the customised programme
- The school must be committed to implementing the customised programme in the following year
- Language educators need to honour the timelines that are agree upon
- Where possible, school specific programmes will be adapted from the standard Whuzoo language programmes.
